About ALMA PARK ZOO:

Alma Park Zoo is a unique tropical zoo set on 20 acres of award winning palm gardens with Australian and exotic animals nestled amongst them. Alma Park Zoo is an easy drive about 30 minutes (or 28KM) North of the Brisbane City Centre just off the Bruce Highway on the way to the Sunshine Coast. The Zoo Train is another alternative and departs Roma Street Station 9.02am daily on the Caboolture Line. Get off at Dakabin Station where a complimentary bus will take you to the Zoo. See a wide variety of Australian animals including koalas, kangaroos, emu, dingo, echidna and wombat to name a few, as well as a range of exotic animals such as sun bears, leopard, camel, water buffalo, monkeys and baboons. Visitors can enjoy hands on contact with the animals. Touch and pat the friendly kangaroos and fallow deer in their walk thru enclosures. Come face to face with koalas and take your own photos at daily feeding times. Picnic and BBQ facilities are provided situated throughout the tropical gardens and spacious lawns for a relaxing lunch.
