Learn to Scuba Dive
Beginners Course (Openwater Diver)
That’s right you can learn to dive with all learning manual’s and dive equipment, you even get your own diver’s log book to keep, that’s right no hidden extras.
This is a PADI Gold 5 Star course with 5 theory sessions, 5 swimming pool sessions and 4 local shore dives. Step1 - Classroom Theory
Before getting into Scuba, we need to teach you some theory about diving. Approximately 15 hours of knowledge development over 2.5 days will ensure you are completely aware of all the different aspects of Scuba Diving theory. Covering areas such as equipment, diving techniques, the marine environment and safety procedures - you can count on a number of interesting and entertaining sessions, and you will feel a lot more confident about actually getting to use the equipment.
Step2 - Swimming Pool Tuition
Before you get to try the real thing in the ocean, we will need to get you comfortable. Here in the HEATED pool you’ll learn basic Scuba Diving skills including, neutral buoyancy, equipment handling, swimming techniques and underwater emergency procedures over four pool sessions. This excellent controlled environment allows you to stop, stand up and confer with your instructor while you practice until you are completely ready for your first ocean experience.
Step3 - Ocean Dives
Well today is it! Now you will really be wrapped. Your final step, off to the ocean and the chance to utilise your newly acquired skills. Over the final couple of days of your course you will complete 4-5 ocean dives and have the opportunity to explore the underwater world first hand, all under the watchful eye of your instructor.

Bay Village Resort - Dunsborough offers a range of stylish two and three bedroom chalets and 3 bedroom, 2 & 4 bathroom villas, all fully self-contained with TV and FREE in house movies, full kitchen facilities including microwave, laundry and most with under cover parking.
