Chimes Spa Retreat has that something special – it’s the antithesis of a sterile hotel room, yet lacks the ‘instructiveness’ of a bed and breakfast. Instead, it combines the best elements of both – guests can enjoy a warm, comfortable, homely environment whilst maintaining a sense of privacy and independence. The Chimes Salon Spa has been designed to provide spa services to both men and women, individually as well as providing the spa experience for couples. As you make your way through the honeysuckle arbor amidst wind chimes, bird feeders and perennials the Chimes experience begins as soon as you enter this sanctuary. The hypnotic sound of water greets you at the entry to the gift boutique as the aroma of essential oils and incense helps to ease and relax you. Sandalwood oil is a signature ingredient in treatments at Chimes Salon Spa. Both Chinese and Ayurvedic traditional medicine have incorporated the use of sandalwood oil for many ailments, including: stress, panic, insomnia, angina and coronary heart disease. Tibetan monks discovered the use of the oil in 200 BC as a means to assist in focusing the mind and relaxing the body. The Garden Suites are north facing with a country or garden outlook whilst the Ocean view Suites are facing south with views over Wilson Inlet and the Southern Ocean. There is a vertical tower at either end of the building, both of which is more spacious and afford better views. All our rooms have Reverse cycle air conditioning En-suite with large shower & open plan double spa/jacuzzi Satellite TV(Foxtel), VCR or CD/DVD, ISD/STD, WiFi internet Tea/coffee, iron, hairdryer, minibar, bubbles, robes, candles. Self contained. If you prefer self-contained accommodation (accommodating up to 6) you might find our other accommodation more suitable.
