Houghton have been prolific trophy and medal winners since winning the Order of Merit at the Great Melbourne Exhibition of 1880 earning the ongoing and well deserved title of Western Australia's most awarded winery. The flagship wine Houghton Jack Mann, in honour of the late, great winemaker of Houghton for over 51 vintages, recently classified by Langton's "distinguished" category, continues to represent classic Western Australian Cabernet style.
