Snowgum Motel is located 700m north west of the PO. It is near Mount Beauty which is nestled at the foot of grand Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain. Situated close to ski hire, Falls Creek bus depot, hotel, restaurant, and shops. All year round activities include: bushwalking, fishing, swimming, snow skiing, 4WD tours, horse riding and mountain bike riding, sailboarding and canoeing, hang gliding, golf, tennis and bowls. There are also 5 remarkable wineries in the Kiewa Valley to visit.
Facilities include barbecues, in ground swimming pool, playground, and (8) drying cupboards in rooms. There are 12 rooms available with no smoking indoors. The room facilities include air conditioning cooling central heating, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, tea/coffee making facilities, bath, hairdryer, electric blankets, radio, clock radio, phone, television, in-house movies, and cot.
