Very nice tour! Our tourguide Celeste was very authentic and so much fun! We had a great time with her! Loved the Telfair museum, it is so beautiful! Even though me and my friend are from Germany, we could understand everything very well!
Started slowly - apparently some Christmas activities in Savannah were creating traffic. Once the tour started, Jerad and his driver did an excellent job, spinning stories and relating history of Old Savanna's haunted mansions. Jerad was dressed and portrayed a voodoo Gullah doctor - very convincing and ominous. Liked the diversity of the presentation with Old Savanna Tours. He went on to tell of the haunted homes we stopped at. Our driver was exceptional at managing the traffic and negotiating the busy Saturday night streets. The ghosts that wandered onto the trolley were convincing and ominous as well. John Wilkes Booth's brother (to introduce the tour), a gravedigger who murdered his own father, a pirate who kidnapped men from the Pirate's House. I enjoyed the dramatic presentations. I had on this tour some years ago and was glad to see the characters and the diversity. The pirate that came on board was our favorite. So compelling, so convincing. His performance was touched with morbid humor as well. Visted Telfair Museum - not scary - but informative there. Definitely will do the next time we visit.
There was a little confusion which caused us to be delayed over 30 minutes and combined with another group that had a slightly different tour. After a less than smooth start, the guide and the spirits that came on the bus were very good, The Telfair house was spectacular. It was not scary but the stories were very interesting and we got to see a lot of downtown Savannah. I probably wouldn't do it again but it was fun and we enjoyed it.
Story by all characters was great. Staff and and driver excellent. However, looking thru the plastic windows of the trolley was disappointing. We could not see anything. If it wasn't for the plastic windows being down we would have given 5 stars.
We were here to celebrate 🍾 an anniversary and it was perfect! From pickup to drop off at our hotel the Viator experience was chillingly Halloween in all ways! The trolley tour with knowledgeable host and personable driver exuded Southern Hospitality at its finest! Well done!!! The Ghostly history of Savannah runs deep and the costumed interpreters who boarded the trolley at haunted locations was wonderful--perfect touch! The dinner was to "die" for and quality was outstanding--nice restaurant! You guys do Halloween justice in the best way!!! 4 star rating... But a five star experience!!
The tour itself was great. The narrator was fantastic and fun. The stories were good. We got to go into the Telfair Museum which was very nice. It was the initial shuttle and pick up that was the problem. We waited over an hour from our original time to be picked up. Apparently there was a problem with the shuttle, which it is understandable. But no one bothered to call and tell us. I had to keep calling them to see what was going on and even the girl handling the call didn't seem to know. The trolley ended up coming to get us and dropping us back off, which again was nice. Just a severe lack of communication that started the night off poorly. I would suggest just going to the visitors center and meeting them there rather than waiting.
Brandon was our narrator and Miss Cindy was our driver on this great tour! Both were extremely kind and very knowledgeable, making the tour fun and informative. The food at the Pirate House was fantastic and the wait to eat was very short. This was a great tour and we would highly recommend this as being worth both your time and money.
Our story teller, she was fabulous. She was very informative & entertaining. We were sad when the tour was over, wanted to hear more. Afterwards we drover over to the Colonial Cemetery I took lots of pictures & I do believe we had some spiritual photos bombs....LOL. Wished we could have gone inside the Sewell-Weed house or the Pirate House but the tour was still great
