Everyone over 16 needs a Texas Fishing license. These can be purchased at the marina on site.
One day all-water licenses are $11/person for residents and $16/person for non-residents.

My family had such a great time during this fishing experience. The Captain and his deck hand didn't disappoint either. They were both very friendly, offered expert advise, and shared local information for when we got back to the dock. Along our adventure we got to see sea turtles, manta rays, and dolphins. Well worth the money and memories made.

I took the family for their first fishing trip and it was a great success! We put fish in the cooler BIG Red, Sheepies, and Drum. All great sizes. We had a big drum that my wife hooked up and it wore her out . It was big enough we had to release it. Shane was fantastic. I think a full day offshore is in the future!

Captain Shane was a great guide. Put us on fish quick and we had a blast. His deckhand Jacob was also great. Young guy that kept us geared up so we didn't miss a bite. Wish we could have caught the 10 lbs sheepshead so Captain Shane would have won the tourney but maybe next time. Will definitely charter with Captain Shane again.

Our family decided last minute to go fishing on Memorial Day weekend. Captain Shane was recommended to us and happened to have a last minute reschedule, so we were able to fish with him. We had a blast!! We were catching fish when many other boats were struggling! He knew just where to go! We caught 2 sharks and a stingray, which was incredible. We also caught a striped trout and sheepshead. Lastly, we caught 2 very nice sized Redfish and 2 Catfish for dinner, and Capt Shane cleaned and prepared them for us, and even gave us some cooking tips! My family knows very little about fishing, and he answered all our questions, kept our lines baited and untangled, and knew exactly how to finish the deal and get the fish in the boat once we got bites. We loved our trip. Thanks Shane!

while we were in texas working we decided to take a day to relax on the water. or at least we so we thought. As it turns out we spent all day reeling in fish. great times. Captain shane was professional and has all the knowledge contacts to put us on them. We had such a great time we decided to go again a few weeks later. The seas were screamin the whole day. huge waves breaking over he front of the boat. All other charters called it and went in to calmer water. Not our captain. He knew we were willing to hang and so was he. Caught fish non stop. We were in a smaller boat than most of the others but you would never know it. Shane knows how to navigate a boat through the tough stuff and still put us on fish. Yet another great trip. We will soon be going back to Texas and will definitely go fishing with sea ventures again. top notch electronics, tunes, boat and gear, and knowledgeable Captain.

We were vacationing in Texas and knowing we wanted to see Galveston, we set up the fishing with Captain Shane and we were WOWED with the fun we had Bay fishing! It was a blast and we can't thank you enough! We have fished in Canada, off the Florida Keys and in the Great Lakes and we truly enjoyed our day with you. We will continue to recommend you to our friends!
