Daniel was our tour guide during our 2 day stopover in Bahir Dar. He wa very professional right from the time he picked us up from the airport till we left for Gondor. His knowledge about orthodox xhristianity of Ethiopia and the local culturewas very helpful. We picked his brains with lots of questions and he never let us down with his answers. Puntual, understanding our needs and always advising on how to maximise our short stay in Bahir Dar.

Daniel was our guide for our day in Bahir Dar. We enjoy history and facts and he didn't dissapoint. His friendly and outgoing personality made it a fun day especially the hike to the Blue Nile waterfalls and the monastery. His lunch recommendation was spot on. We even got to see hippos in the water. Thanks Daniel for making the day so great!

Daniel was our guide for 1.5 days in Bahir Dar Ethiopia. Daniel's English is excellent and easy to understand, as he does not have a heavy accent. He is very knowledgeable about Bahir Dar, the Blue Nile, Orthodox Christianity, politics as it relates to Ethiopia. He was very informative and gave us just the right amount of information. He did not overload us and thoroughly answered all our questions. He is a nice guy and made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Daniel as your guide in Ethiopia!!

Daniel (a.k.a. Dos) was our local guide for a boat ride on Lake Tana, where we got to see the mouth of the Blue Nile River, a couple of hippos, including a baby, and islands with monasteries on them. We also visited two of the ancient churches/monasteries, and Daniel explained the history, the traditions, and why each was historically important. He knew a lot about the local villages and people, and we really enjoyed learning about this part of Ethiopia. We also had a beautiful hike up to see The Blue Nile Falls, and Daniel was very informative about the history of the Blue Nile River and how its use has changed as it's been harnessed for hydroelectric power and irrigation. Daniel communicated well and we found him to be a wonderful guide!
