  Having 2 little ones, the Skunk Train was perfect. My 7 year old did feel it was too short of a ride. I agree but my 4 yr was happy. Loved that we had the option of going in and out on the platform to be outside as it went. Next time I plan on going w adults so that when we have our stop, we can actually take the trails back. Love that option. A little over 3 miles.

  The ride was very nice with beautiful forest and great atmosphere. Once can take a morning train, then do a hike and come back in an afternoon one.

  Amazing staff and even better ride with the kids! Definitely a great family activity for all ages. Santa us the real deal here!! Great job Skunk Train family!!

  VERY DISAPPOINTED, Website is deceiving, nowhere does it mention that the train tunnel is collapsed and that the train can't continue on the "experience" they advertise, way over priced for a quick 30 minute ride. Don't recommend wasting your money. We drove over 10 hours and paid good money for this disappointment.

  The Rail-bikes through the Redwoods was so much fun. I am so glad there was a motor on the bike to use in case your legs got tired which they did on the return as it was uphill a bit. Jordan and Morgan were amazing and knowledgeable. (I think those were their names) we had a 45 minute stop where they told us about the Skunk Train/Rail bikes and how it all got started, future plans and enough time to eat our lunch we brought with us. We were all given a goodie bag with caramel popcorn and bottles water. Make sure to bring a coat. It is chilly in the shade which was most of the way. We brought gloves which saved us. It is a little pricey but a very fun and unique activity. Thank you. Will be back with my friends.

  The pumpkin express from Willits was a total blast from start to finish. We had a group of 16 and the staff at Skunk Train went above and beyond to accommodate and make this a Halloween to remember forever.

  A nice way to see the scenery of the area with great narration. We learned many facts on our excursion. They picked us up at Mendocino Redwoods RV Park!

  A relaxing and beautiful ride through Willits, it's interesting industrial backyard that shows how important the timber industry was and still is, and the nearby Noyo Valley, with its magnificent stands of trees. While we didn't view as many redwoods as we thought we would, witnessing the train turn around at the top of the ride was fascinating. Malachi, the conductor, was 5-Star! Time well spent.

  This was a highlight of our trip! It was a gorgeous route into the redwoods. Then a nice time walking around before we hopped back on to head back. Adults and kids all enjoyed the trip!

  This is a delightful adventure. I purchased tickets online easily. The check in clerk was efficient and personable. The ride was fun and educational. Snacks and drinks was available in the bar car. We have done this many times when the kids were growing up. Now it’s our turn to enjoy it. We will be back.
