A definite must do! The doors off experience was amazing, no obstructed views and the pilot did a wonderful job keeping the helicopter steady to provide a smooth ride even with the island trade winds!

Excellent experience! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to say they saw the island. We did this at the start of our trip and really enjoyed our hikes and other areas more knowing we saw it all from above! You can't beat seeing all the waterfalls, flying close into the canyon and looking at Kauai from above. Crissy was also an excellent pilot with a great playlist. 10/10!

What an amazing experience. Absolutely the best part of our trip. Ingrid was very responsive and helpful to get us booked during the rainy season. And our pilot, Guy was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel safe. The entire experience was lovely. And the flight was private - just my mother and I. Such a beautiful island and we got to see so much more than we ever could have imagined. Wow! Thank you Ingrid and Guy

I can’t stop bragging about our helicopter tour with Ali’i Kauai Air Tours!!! Our check in process with was so smooth and the pilot was so professional, skilled, and entertaining. He brought us to some amazing spots and shared great history of the island. We had such special and fantastic views; the memories will never be forgotten. My boyfriend did end up getting air sick, he gets sick on boats too so we suspected it might happen, and the captain was so kind to him and had a sick bag handy. Mahalo Ali’i Kauai Air Tours!!!

After chasing showers all week, we had perfect blue skies for our flight. Our pilot flew along the coast and up into the canyons to see waterfalls, hiking trails and the invasive non-native plants. Having grown up on the island, the pilot shared personal stories, pointed out celebrity homes and a whale. Perfect flight!

This was such a great experience, my daughter and I loved every bit of it. They were so genuinely kind, the flight was so smooth and interesting/informative, and everything about it was just perfect. I recommend doing it early in your trip since it's so useful for planning what you do next, but even without that it was truly a joy.

We initially booked the private doors off helicopter tour thorough TripAdvisor. Unfortunately for me, I’m too large for the FAA rules regarding this type of helicopter. Ingrid with Ali’i Air Tours saves our vacation day and got us rebooked for a private airplane tour instead. Thank you Ingrid and Billy! The flight was super fun and we got come great photos. With Billy’s knowledge of the island, this was a superb scouting mission for the best hiking, snorkeling, and surfing spots. Mahalo for the great experience.

This is the only way to experience everything that Kauai has to offer. You will see things that can only be seen from the air. We were meant to have a morning tour but the clouds were too low, so Bill offered to change it to the afternoon. The weather cleared up and it was gorgeous! They made every attempt to make sure we had a great time. Bill is born and raised in Kauai, so all of his recommendations and knowledge was first hand. You have the plane all to yourself and your party, and if you’re lucky, the person in the copilot seat might even get to fly the plane! Experience Kauai from the air and you won’t regret it!
