  I can't say enough awesome things about our experience with Stone Adventure in Joshua Tree over the Thanksgiving week. Stephen and Brad were our guides and they were so supportive, knowledgeable and fun. They were fantastic with my two kids (aged 7 and 10) making them laugh, teaching them important skills, encouraging them, and most importantly making them feel safe to explore and challenge themselves. I haven't climbed outdoor in years and my husband is totally new and they made us also feel safe and supported. Worth every last penny and we can't wait to head out with this crew again!

  Our family booked a trip with Stone Adventures, and it was amazing! It was really the highlight of our vacation. Annie was our guide, and she was just fabulous all around. She met us at out camp site with all the gear we needed, and we followed her to the area she had picked for us to climb. She planned everything with our five-year old in mind, just as we had requested. Our son who is a little shy and had never climbed before was SO comfortable with her. Her style was professional, fun, calm, and encouraging. You will not regret this experience. Highly recommend! We will be back.

  Not one regret booking this! We hiked with Stephen in the morning and it was the highlight of our trip. We had a 10 year old and 14 year old and very minimal rock climbing experience. Stephen was ready incredibly knowledgeable and I never once felt concerned about my safety. He was incredibly patient, personable, and supportive! It was great that all we had to do was show up and everything was provided. We got to do a lot of shorter climbs which allowed for us to take many turns. I seriously cannot recommend Stone Adventures enough and would come back to climb with them in a heartbeat! Thank you Stephen for being such a great guide for my family!

  Our Leaders were enthusiastic and their wit entertained our youngest group members (14-11). They were very encouraging and thorough in their explanations. Any and all fears were conquered by the end of our 4 hour rock climbing family trip. We give you boisterous and joy filled, “Thank You!” Stone Adventures. This was a much needed respite for us all.

  My family and I had the best time climbing and hiking through boulders with Stone Adventures. It was the kind of experience you can only get with a guide who knows the area well. I highly recommend Annie and Stone Adventures if you're going to be out in Joshua Tree National Park. Truly an amazing time.

  I took my two daughters who both have done some bouldering and who were excited for the experience, and everyone came back totally re-energized and wanting to climb back at home! Alex was great - awesome energy with teenagers, challenged them and also supported their decisions (and mine), gave the right guidance. The company was super easy to work with. Huge fans!

  Aron and crew were fantastic. We were there with 4 adults and 3 kids all aged 12. They were very supportive and patient with us newbies and made the experience a lot of fun. Joshua Tree’s landscape was something out of Mars. Glad my son’s first experience was with Aron. He talked him through a very difficult climb of which only 2 of 7 of the group could do! Great memories. Highly recommend!

  Alex was amazing with our 4 and 6 YO. Our family of 4 had an awesome trip! We are o varying skill levels and he met everyone’s needs without difficulty. Everyone had a great day. Highly recommended!

  My kids had a wonderful experience climbing with Alex. We almost thought he didn't show because we didn't realize that there is a second parking lot around the corner from the first one. Thankfully we figured that out. My boys are 9&7 and have no climbing experience. Alex took them through 4 climbing spots, coaching the whole way. It was their favorite part of our trip and we would definitely book again.

  Aron was our guide for a family half-day climbing experience in Joshua Tree National Park - two adults, two children (11 and 13 y.o.). We've done a bit of climbing before but mostly indoor. We had a fantastic experience - the climbs that Aron set up were definitely challenging but not too difficult - and we all came away with a real sense of achievement. It was pretty non-stop for the half-day so was good value for money. Organisation of the experience was easy - email communication from Stone Adventures was timely and informative. Their equipment was high-quality and fit well (harnesses, helmets, shoes) - you can tell that Stone Adventures put a premium on safety. Joshua Tree NP itself is incredibly beautiful. All in all I think the climbing experience with Stone Adventures was the perfect way to keep our children engaged (our trip to Joshua Park NP came at the tail-end of a couple of weeks' touring of other national parks).
