Stop At: Electric Tour Company Segway Tours, San Francisco, CA 94109

Riding a Segway is intuitive, like bike-riding, but it takes a moment to learn how to operate it. You'll have 35-45 minutes of Segway training before beginning your tour, so that you become comfortable. You will practice until your group feels familiar with the Segway, then be ready to tour San Francisco!

Once you’re rolling, you’ll follow your guide along the streets of San Francisco on a 3-hour tour, with the ability to cover more distance than on a typical walking tour and plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and questions along the way. You’ll have more time than on the regular public tour, and your guide will be able to adjust the itinerary and pace to your group’s interests and skills.

Awesome Ride for myself and my son. Highly recommend Jack as your tour guide. Excellent training before take off and very patient along the ride. We visited the Wharf, Coit tower Marina greens and much much moor. It’s not easy keeping a teenager entertained but Jack kept us entertained with fun facts and his crazy hat and fuzzy nose 😷 mask. Very enjoyable! Super fan!!

My wife and I take Segway tours at every city we visit, both domestically and internationally. By far this was the best and the guide Susan was outstanding. We would highly recommend this company

This private tour ( there were only my husband and I) worth every penny! We enjoyed it absolutely! First, our guide, JACK, is highly professional. He paid attention to every detail of our safety, he helped us to step on/off our segways and to park them during breaks, eagerly took photos of us and showed best spots and backgrounds for photographs. The most important, he was very passionate narrating the tour, told us many interesting stories about places we visited and famous people of San Francisco. Moreover, he answered all our questions with great knowledge and enthusiasm. BRAVO, JACK! Second, the tour is masterfully organized. It included such iconic places as Little Italy, Telegraph Hill and Coit Tower, Russian Hill, Embarcadero and a pier with breathtaking view of the city's waterfront area and its famous skyscrapers. The tour started with relatively flat areas and easy slopes. Only after the guide assessed our confidence riding a segway, we rode more steep slopes, including the "cherry on top" - riding down the famous Lombard Street. There were also enough breaks in beautiful places to stretch our legs and took pictures. It is not our first segway tour with this company, and we have newer been disappointed. Every time I want to give them 10 stars. From the start: along with the payment confirmation they send detailed instructions how to find the starting place, where to park, what to wear (very important info, as the weather in SF might be tricky). All their guides are very professional, attentive and ready to help. The training at the beginning is accompanied by the funny jokes. You will hear many interesting facts and stories about places you visit on a tour, and every guide brings his own personal touch. To conclude: you will have a great time on any tour, private or public, but to feel special and have something extra - take a private one, it will worth your money.
