This stretch of river contains some of Coloradoâ€™s most exciting advanced level whitewater rafting! With some soaking splashes, a few medium-sized drops and nearly non-stop action, you will want to be in good physical condition and be a good swimmer. Enjoy amazing rocky mountain views of the impressive, snow-capped Collegiate Peaks while resting between long exciting rapids. Perfect for the whitewater veterans and adrenaline-seeking first timers.

WHAT TO BRING
This is a list of items that are not required, but recommended in order to make your rafting adventure as satisfying as possible.
Quick drying clothes: nylon shorts, synthetic fleece, polypro, capilene or wool garments
Sunscreen
Lip Balm
Shoes or sandals with a heel strap (no flip flops)
Sunglasses with a strap
Waterproof cameras
Bathing suit
Change of clothes (include a hoodie or jacket in case it’s chilly at the end of the trip)

Guide gratuities are greatly appreciated.
What NOT To bring:
Avoid wearing cotton, as it makes you colder when wet.
Don’t wear Flip Flops or Crocs.
Anything valuable that you do not want to risk losing.

Helmets and Type V Coast Guard Approved PFD’s (Personal Flotation Devices or “life jackets”).
Nice sanitized wetsuits, splash jackets, neoprene shoes and dry bags for a small rental fee.

Mike T (long haired Mike) was a terrific guide, extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He took us on a challenging trip—the last Numbers run of the season, and on the stretch below the Numbers after lunch, at a time of low water. We had a couple of situations that his experience and skill were key in getting us out of: once when we got pinned to a rock (all our fault, we failed to execute Mike’s commands swiftly enough), and a second time when I got knocked out of the raft. (Mike pulled me back in.) He had to read the first we all the time because if lower water made it quite different from runs earlier on the season. We had a great time. Highly recommend The Adventure Company for your white water adventures

Our guides Corey and Mike were great. We had perfect weather and a good water. Our guides were knowledgeable and provided constant conversation about the river and surrounding locations. The provided lunch was perfect to get us through the remaining paddle.

The communication for check-in was straight forward with signing waivers online beforehand. They had our name waiting on the welcome board as you enter confirming your reservation. It was in the low 50s our day so they have wet suits and rain jackets to rent to remain comfortable and worked great throughout the day. The gear and equipment was well-maintained. Most importantly, the guides were knowledgeable about the area and definitely the water. Cory was our trip leader and guide for the day. He was energetic and fun to be around. He asked us if we were interested in doing extra stuff like “surfing” some eddy currents and of course we had a blast trying it. He made it fun for everyone and gave us a full memorable experience.

We were guided by Cory today, he's an awesome guide with 18 years experience--he redefined at the limits the definition of FUN! Ask him about surfing waves with the raft! Hold on tight and prepare for the ultimate adrenaline rush. The water was only 800 CFS on this perfect weather day but the route through Numbers is truly so breathtakingly beautiful and the rapids so challenging you'll never forget it!

My wife, 15 year old son, and myself had a great time on the full day Numbers Arkansas River experience. This has been the second time we have used the Adventure Company and we had another great time and another great River guide- Karah. Checkin is an absolute breeze and very friendly. The bus ride is entertaining and river/rafting instructions were easy to follow. Karah was a great guide. She is super friendly and informative. We had a very good lunch-salad, chips/salsa, main course of chicken fajitas, followed up by terrific brownies. It was another great day on the river. You cannot go wrong with the Adventure Company. Worth every penny.

Had a wonderful time doing a full day on The Numbers yesterday with The Adventure Company! Mallory was extremely helpful with numerous emails back and forth to determine the best suited rafting trip for our group. Once on the Arkansas River our fantastic guide Mike T. (Long hair) guided us beginners through the class IV rapids with skill, safety, patience and unbelievable know how. I dare anyone to try find a more professional River Guide. This was a guys trip, but I am definitely coming back with my wife, 8 and 9 year old sons to raft with The Adventure Company. I completely trust Mike T. to keep my most precious safe and have fun on the white water in the future.

The first day we did Browns since it was our first time and we are in our late fifties. We had Michael A. as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and how to maneuver the river. We saw many other companies not have their guest paddle correctly and many lost their guests in the water. I was glad we used adventure company who taught us skills and what to do if we found ourselves outside of the boat. We never lost anyone to the water. The second day we did full day Numbers and requested Michael. It was more challenging but very fun. This is a very well run company with safety being top priority. We hope to return with our children next year.

WoW! If you have an adventure seeking family this trip is for you! The Adventure Company took the time to answer all of my questions when I first called to inquire. Our family had rafted class 3 rapids prior to our trip and were wanting to try out class 4&5. I was very hesitant but after speaking with the lady on the phone I knew it was the company to go with. I had called other companies and they were rushing to answer important questions and seemed too busy. We booked our trip with The Adventure Company and had the absolute best time! Our guide Corey also known as “weird beard” was the highlight of our trip! He was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and shared interesting facts and even took us on a short hike to see an old cabin made in early 1900’s. The lunch we had was AMAZING! Chicken and steak fajitas along with salad, fruit, and yummy brownies! Corey kept the conversation going and filled our day with laughter and memories. It was the best experience a family could ask for! Highly recommend!!💗💗

Went on the Numbers full-day rafting trip with my sister and even though the river was running low, we had a marvelous time! Our guide Ross made the experience both enjoyable and interesting as he navigated the Arkansas River for us. Didn't feel intimidated by the rapids even though I'd only been rafting once before. Would definitely recommend this company and hope to come again when the water is high!

Excellent day with my daughters and our very talented and informative guide, Matt Tallent. He seemed to always pick the perfect lines for the most excitement! Everyone stayed in the boat. This is my second experience with this company and I would recommend this as your first last, only or always.
