Guides (Jimmy and David) were excellent! Happy to customize the trip based on what the group wanted to Do/see.. great snorkeling. They dont rent wetsuits but have other gear for you. I recommend bringing a wetsuit, but many people didnt have them And were fine. The ad is correct… its bumpy on the way there but I loved that. Saw dolphins on the way there and the way back!

My husband and I were a bit apprehensive at first knowing it was a speed boat, but that definitely added it to the experience The captain of the boat was very professional and had lots of history to speak of along the journey.

Jimmy and Landon were great hosts. They pointed out areas of interest and explained what we were seeing. And they saved the best for last - snorkeling in the bay! The water was crystal clear and it was awesome to see fish I had only seen in aquariums and in pictures. I have snorkeled all over the Caribbean so I have seen many types of fish for the Atlantic Ocean. This was my first opportunity to snorkel in the Pacific. I even went to Hapuna Beach the next day to snorkel. But the reefs were quite a swim offshore and not for weak swimmers!

Your whole industry is a scam and a ripoff! You enticed me to sign up while l was still in San Antonio up, Texas, but then nobody knew where to go or who to contact and your agents (they are all scam artists) just said it was all somebody else who would perform the promised trip somewhere but where we were and at some time other than when we were there. I am going to do my darn best to tell every other state that the Big Island Tourist Industry is a farce and a fraud!!!!

Speed boat was not bad. Very knowledgeable about caves but did not get to explore. Snorkel area was nice but not as much variety of fish and no turtles. We did get to see dolphins! Still enjoyed the day.

The experience was amazing! While I felt I could have spent double the time on snorkeling alone I understand why it was short, but everything about this trip was worth it. The snorkeling spot was a dream, the captain was funny and easy to communicate with, the boat ride on the choppy ocean was a blast of a journey in itself! Overall, I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

The guides were well qualified and interesting. The smaller boat was able to get in close to shore so that we saw sights on the coastline that you would not be able to appreciate from a larger boat. The snorkeling at Captain Cook was wonderful.

Good time. A lot of sun, so make sure you bring cover up or sun screen. Reef is beautiful and you get to see a lot of fish.
