Your naturalist guide will take you on a 2-4 mile hike that will offer breathtaking views of waterfalls, the Tongass National Forest, and the world-famous Mendenhall Glacier. Your expert guide will provide interpretation along the way and share information about this unique and amazing ecosystem and its inhabitants. Possible wildlife sightings include: black bears, American bald eagles, wild Alaskan salmon, porcupines, and more! Rainforest was beautiful, so many colours and vegetation. Our guide Andy was very nice and knowleadgable too. We got to see the glacier during the excursion and from the visitors centes. Great experience overall

Andy and Lili were fantastic!!! So informative and great to spend time with! They had great attitudes and you could tell they loved what they were doing. I learned so much on our daily adventures. We actually looked forward to our time with them.

Amazing hike and views Andy was an amazing guide very knowledgeable of the forest plant life not to mention the local history and stories. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an amazing hike!

We had an amazing experience. We had some rain, but it didn't take away from the amazing view, hike, and interpretive knowledge of Dan Michrowski, our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the plants and wildlife, and he was very kind. He also showed his expertise in handling a Black Bear on the trail so that we always felt safe. That alone was a memorable experience. We would (and will) do other hikes with Dan and Alaska Luxury Tours. Wow!!!

Though it is a group tour, they were still operating even there was only me, so that is great! Very beautiful trip and really worth it, you have enough time to see the glacier. The shuttle is clean and spacious, they also prepared snacks, bottle with water.
