Tour operator sent text to tell to us choose vineyards to visit from their form. We filled out and returned. Then, They texted us the night before departure claiming they emailed and called during week telling us to call all of the vineyards directly to make our own vineyard reservations as the $600 tour only included the ride not tastings or services. And without proof of reservations they informed us they would not be sending the van in the morning. This text gave us no time to make these reservations. They refused to discuss on phone - instead would only text. Said this is why they hate dealing with tourists. Needles to say they never sent a van and kept $100.

San Francisco was one of the stops on our honeymoon and wanted to take a day trip to Napa. Booked this trip on Tripadvisor after seeing the reviews and comparing other companies. We - could - not - be happier! We had a wonderful time! Our driver for the day, Alex, was simply amazing and made our entire day extraordinary. Based on wineries that we wanted to hit, we contacted the company and adjusted the pick up time with no problem. Alex arrived at our hotel a few minutes early, the SUV was clean and off we went. Along the way, Alex provided us descriptions of landmarks, stories about different wineries, the winemaking process and many other insights into what we were passing. The drive flew by. After each winery, Alex was there waiting to take us to the next ones and then finally back to the hotel. He was an extremely safe driver and we had no issues whatsoever. Thank you Alex for making our honeymoon / day trip to Napa special.

We booked our tour with Viator and within 2 days had been contacted by Cardinal with a list and prices for wineries to visit. They offered up to 5 during the 8 hr trip. As we weren’t planning to buy wine we decided to just do a couple. We started with a small group tour and tasting of the beautiful Jarvis winery all done in an underground cave. In a group of 8 we had a very informative tour of this amazing winery then a tasting of 5 of their wines. In total we spent nearly 2 hrs there. Our driver Alex then took us to some restaurants in Sonomma where we had a lovely lunch then on to Buena Vista winery again beautiful old winery with lovely grounds. We hadn’t booked as this was recommended by some others on the Jarvis tour, Alex then drove us back to our hotel. Alex our driver was prompt, full of information pointing out sights and areas of interest , detouring to show us special sights such as The Palace of Fine arts. The limo was very comfortable. Vadim at the tour office was quick to reply to queries about timings and routes and helpful in settling the itinerary. All in all a very good way of seeing a bit of the countryside and learning about wine making.

The tour was absolutely perfect. The driver/guide Alex was at the hotel precisely in time. We hit all the 4 wineries scheduled. The tour had been previously organized in a series of emails exchanged with management. Alex also showed as a very good deli so that we could eat something in between a lot of wine tastings. He was very knowledgeable about the hole region. I highly recommend this service.

The tour itself was a blast - our guide was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the area. After getting to know our group he changed plans a bit to take us to wineries that fit our personalities and what we were hoping to get out of the day. He made sure we got to see as much as we wanted and also let us sit around and enjoy the beautiful day - it never felt like we were being rushed between places. BUT the viator post and what we got as a package from the provider was very disconnected. The tastings are NOT complimentary, as the post leads you to believe. We were able to get matched with wineries with lower cost tastings, but the day ended up being more than we anticipated. Additionally, the post talks about the wine you get for the ride (1-2 bottles depending on the car selection), we also never received this. Finally, the tour company was unreachable on the office line - I tried calling & leaving messages a few times and never got a call back. It wasn't until I reached out via email that I was able to get a response. I would recommend this tour for anyone who's willing to spend more money on transportation only, knowing all tasting fees are extra & has sufficient time to go back and forth via email to organize the desired itinerary.

Fun and smooth trip. Pre trip communication was great. They allowed us to select some wineries and helped to plan a well laid out trip. Our driver Lonnie was excellent... courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and fun. We would definitely choose this company again!

Our driver was brilliant, he also took us to some great photo ops and not just wine we visited a winery that made oils ect from his recommendation.

My husband and i booked a private tour of Sonoma and were not disappointed. Lonny our driver picked us up at our hotel right on time. We took in a couple of sights on the way out of the city, and started our day with a Champagne toast. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Cardinal the whole process was easy and clear.
