Loved this tour! So many different foods were showcased. Jessica was a great guide and really sold Gilbert as a great area with a fantastic food scene.

This was an outstanding food tour with varied food and drink items offered. Our group of four especially enjoyed the brisket BBQ at Joe’s Real BBQ, the tacos and margaritas at Barrio Queen, the prickly pear ice cream Topo Arizona, the sangria at Liberty Market, and the “Not Ella” bar at Romeo’s Euro Cafe. Matt was a great tour guide. We found him to be knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. He interacted with each of the 10 people on our tour and made them feel welcome and included. We did the Downtown Phoenix Taste It Tour last year, the Gilbert tour this year, and are looking forward to doing another one next year when we come to AZ for Spring Training!

Loved the tour and Matt.Have had a bit more history and stories from owners and guides in the past but really did enjoy the food. Must be sure you are planning this tour for dinner!

Matt was very personable. There was a great selection of restaurants. It was a good value. Nice combination of history and excellent food. Everything went smoothly, we didn’t even have to wait at any of the restaurants for our wonderful food or drink.

Matt was an excellent guide and fun to be around. We had a great time. We visited six places. The Liberty Market was my favorite with chicken , bacon pizza. We had smoked pork, tacos with homemade chips and salsa plus margarita's. We finished the tour with homemade icecream. Yum! It was so worth the trip. You won't be hungry when you finish.

Our guide, Tara, gave us lots of the early history of Gilbert, Arizona, though admittedly, historical Arizona is not that old and Gilbert's major claim to fame lies in its water features and the fact that they supplied the WWI Calvary with hay. Nevertheless, if you like a small town, friendly place, this is it. We found the volume of food more than that of the usual food tour, and all very tasty. It included a variety of cuisines, and the password to visit a speak easy, all local favorites. Kudos to Tara, who was very amiable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The size of the group was just right, about 9 people, and the tour was well-organized so that we were never waiting for a table or our food.

My husband and I took my visiting cousin on the Taste It tour in downtown Gilbert. The city center is charming, and the food selections were delicious!! We particularly LOVED the pizza at Liberty Market, and the 'Not Ella's' dessert bites. But everything was delicious. Our guide, Tara, gave us the perfect pairing of historical info and foodie stops. And the people who choose these tours are always friendly, interesting companions for our 3 hour ramble. We plan to do it again when other friends visit!!
