Stop At: Another Side Of Los Angeles Tours, 1080 S La Cienega Blvd Suite 108, Los Angeles, CA 90035-2591

Meet your guide in central Los Angeles to begin your full-day tour of the city's top attractions and suburbs by air-conditioned minivan. You’ll begin with a morning tour of LA beaches followed by an afternoon tour of the landmarks of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Your first destination is the century-old Santa Monica Pier, which provides expansive views of the sandy coastline and the Pacific Ocean. Learn about the history of the amusement rides before taking a stroll along the Third Street Promenade, an open-air shopping district filled with boutiques and name-brand stores in downtown Santa Monica.

Back aboard the minivan, drive to another waterfront favorite — the Venice Beach Boardwalk, birthplace of extreme skateboarding and a hotbed of counter-culture quirkiness. Enjoy people watching and soak up the bohemian vibe as you admire more ocean views and watch the many street performers. Your guide will regale you with stories about Venice’s former inhabitants like Jim Morrison while you take note of Muscle Beach's eccentric crowd.

Next, take a 1-hour break for lunch (own expense) at The Grove shopping center next to LA's popular Farmers Market, and then start the afternoon portion of your tour.

Learn about the entertainment industry en route to Hollywood, where you’ll set eyes on the Dolby Theatre (formerly known as the Kodak Theatre), home to the Academy Awards. Stop at the opulent TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly called Grauman’s Chinese Theatre) on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame, where more than 2,500 stars line the sidewalk. Pass the 4,310-acre (1,740-hectare) Griffith Park and the restored movie palace of El Capitan Theatre, and enjoy views of the downtown skyline and the Hollywood Sign, a cultural icon marking the Hollywood Hills.

As you drive down the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, glimpse the Viper Room — a legendary nightclub — and the world-famous Whiskey a Go Go, former host to rock bands like Led Zeppelin and The Doors. Cruise past the notorious Chateau Marmont, a celebrity favorite, on Sunset Boulevard as you make your way to Beverly Hills.

While you drive down the palm-lined avenues, your guide will point out the mansions of the rich and famous, as well as the legendary hotels they frequent like the Beverly Hilton, the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Beverly Wilshire, featured in the movie Pretty Woman. Then cruise down Rodeo Drive and past the designer stores of the Golden Triangle on Wilshire Boulevard.

Your tour ends when you return to your starting point at our office.

In town for a few days, we booked the LA Highlights Tour after reading other reviews. We had a fantastic day with Darnell that felt personal and unique to us and not like a another cookie-cutter, shut-up-and-ride-the-bus tour. We enjoyed friendly, insightful narrative and many, many sights from Santa Monica and Venice Beach to Hollywood, the Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, The Farmer's Market for lunch, fabulous mansions, the Hollywood sign and more--all in the comfort of a luxury van. Darnell showed us SO much in just a day, it would have taken us a week to see everything on our own. He knew where to go, where to park, guided us easily from place to place and he was a really interesting person to talk to. Another couple joined us in the afternoon and that was fun, too. Kenneth arranged the tour and our transportation from our hotel and it was a positive experience all the way. Five stars for sure!

To Everyone Looking for a Tour, I can’t say enough positive things about the owner of this company, and our super amazing tour guide, Mica. He gave us so much educational information on each place we stopped that I would have never known if it wasn’t for this tour. What a great way to see LA all in 3 hours. It is great for people visiting from out of town and want to see a lot in one day. We did the 3 hour beaches tour to Venice and Santa Monica. We also did the 3 hour LA tour to Hollywood and Beverly Hills area. And both were fantastic. All the MUST see stops while in LA are on this tour. And then you get to see which one you like best and go there another day to visit/explore by yourself. I loved Venice so much the next day I drove to the beach and got to see all the street performers and shops on the boardwalk and I watched the sunset there. We had many opportunities to get out and walk around, even got an awesome viewpoint with the Hollywood sign in the background because Mica knows the secret spot. There office is easy to get to as well because it’s not on a super busy street/area. Easy Uber ride to the office. Thank you very much Another Side of LA your company!

This tour is perfect for somebody that wants to see as much as they can in a short period of time. It enabled us to see all the major highlights of the area in a day. Micah was an excellent guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to adapt the tour to the interests of our group (6 extended family members ranging in age from 50 to 74, 3 couples). We really enjoyed his playlist to go with the different areas we were visiting. Our guide was punctual and his vehicle was very comfortable and clean. The tour included snacks and bottled water for the group. Micah drove like a pro in the LA traffic. In our opinion, this tour was worth every penny. We highly recommend it.

My mom and I had a fantastic time touring the city with Micah! His tour was the highlight of our trip. Micah took us all over LA and gave us great tips. We got amazing pictures and up close to all the main attractions especially the Hollywood sign. He is very pleasurable, knowledgeable and punctual. The luxury van we rod in was spot less, and full of snacks and water. Micah was a safe driver and maneuvered his way around the city on a busy Monday morning. Definitely recommended taking this tour and ask for Micah!

TONY, Thursday we took a tour of LA with you and you told us that Brad Pitt had worked at the Pollo Ollo(?) in his earlier days. On Friday after we checked into our hotel in San Diego we turned on the TV and it was the Ellen DeGeneres Show and one of the guests was BRAD PITT. She asked him if he really worked at Pollo or was that made up. He said he worked there for a couple of years and wore the chicken suit every day. I think he said from 87-89. He also gave the address, just as you pointed out. GREAT SHARING. Once again, our tour was FIRST CLASS with YOU and plan to let Viator know as we are about to fill out our post-evaluation. We hope your dreams become wishes and your wishes come true. THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY IN LA. Al and Wanda Johnson, Tucson
