The human at the Golden gate Park booth was awesome and very friendly. But the mixup of the pick up point from what it said on the ticket to where it was in reality was just yet another black guy for VIatpr. This is the third strike so I think they’re out

Renting a bike from Bay City Bike Rentals was a fun and hassle free experience. They provided great customer service in ensuring that we all had the proper size bikes, along with providing several tips prior to heading out. Can't speak to other bike rentals companies, as there are several to choose from, but based on my experience would recommend Bay City Bike Rentals.

Cycling or walking the Golden Gate Bridge is an absolute must when you go to San Francisco, but I would recommend cycling for the additional trip down to Sausalito and then catching the ferry back. You have a lot of choices when it comes to renting a bicycle, and while it's difficult to provide a comprehensive review on what was likely a combined 10 minute interaction, I would definitely recommend Bay City Bike Rentals. They were friendly, professional, and purchasing the ferry ticket back at the same time as the rental was very convenient. The location we rented from was on the corner of Bay Street and Taylor Street.

This was a great way to see Golden Gate Park. We rode from the bike shop, all through the Park to the water, up the hill to Sutro Baths and back. Even my youngest children, ages 9 and 11, did great and could handle the whole ride. So fun!!

We rented several bikes here and I found the service to be quite helpful. The representatives explained the different routes we could take to explore the downtown area and some helpful facts about the city. I would recommend traveling by bike if you don't mind the light exercise because traffic can get a bit tricky. It's a great activity for those traveling with children, with their significant other or just by yourself.
