My sister and I took our kids as an end of summer treat. We did the lower pigeon float with Janet as our guide. The trip was so much fun and Janet made it extra special! The kids loved her and she even got our little one that hates water splashing and giggling uncontrollably! The older kids did the upper pigeon trip with Darrell U. and they all agreed that it was definitely the best part of the trip! None of us have ever gone white water rafting before but they were very thorough in making sure we were comfortable and outfitted properly in our gear as well as making it SO MUCH FUN! Highly Recommend!

Big Creek Expeditions is fantastic, as an veteran with service dog’s they are the only white water rafting companies in the area that made accommodations for my service dog’s. I rely on the dog’s to alert me when there’s a medical issue, so this was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this company. We felt like part of a larger family. Thank you so much.

This was one of the best parts of our family vacation! Our guide was Huey and made our trip very memorable! He shared interesting facts as we went down river alongside multiple stories! I would highly recommend doing this and ask for Huey!!

We planned this rafting trip from a distance and there were SO many rafting companies to choose from. Do yourself a favor and choose Big Creek Expeditions! Having done similar tours in the past, we knew that the guide makes or breaks the entire experience. Not only was our guide Ernie skillful, knowledgeable, personable and friendly, but it was obvious the entire team of guides worked well together. This was our kids’ first experience with rafting and Ernie was so sweet with them. The lower creek rapids were perfect for a first timer. We’ll have great memories of a wonderful experience! Also, we were delighted to find a few food trucks on grounds of the rafting headquarters- perfect for a bite to eat after a trip down the river.

Huey was a tour guide and he was FANTASTIC! This has been by far the best experience we have had on our trip here in Pigeon Forge! Huey was entertaining and informative. I highly recommend Big Creek Expeditions.

Wayne was a great guide.. we were paired with a family of 4.. Wayne was great with us & with kids.. great float, knowledgeable about the river and trees along the way... got us going & got us 2 opportunities to drop into the water..... a great time!
