Itinerary

Donuts with Dolphins - Come Hungry as we provide donuts and hope nature provides Dolphins. as The Morning trips are generally calmer winds and therefore we spend a little more time looking for dolphins than we do sailing. However if we do have good sailing winds, we will certainly go sail if possible. This is typically a gentle motor ride through the beautiful intercoastal waterways of Hilton Head where it is very rare to pass through without seeing an abundance of wildlife such as dolphins, birds (pelicans, egrets, bald eagles) as well as some great scenery.

We allow our guests to be as involved in the sailing process as they would like. If you would like to be involved you will be winching sail sheets, moving the sails from side to side when we change direction, handling lines, along with steering the boat and navigating under the supervision of the Captain. If you would like to have a relaxing ride, you are welcome to just come, kick your feet up and relax - do nothing - and we will take care of the rest

Trent was our guide and he did an amazing job. He was great with my kids who range from 13-2. We got too see several dolphins and he was very knowledgeable about the area as well as it’s history.

We took a 2 hour, “doughnuts with dolphins” morning cruise with Captain Paul and his crew mate, Kevin. I can say that this was one of the most exciting things we have ever done with our kids (ages 4 and 7). The kids wanted to see creatures “up close” so we took their motor boat for our ride and we started seeing dolphins almost immediately. We even got to see a mother dolphin with her newborn baby cruising the waters. Capt Paul also gave us a history lesson of the island and it’s marine life, and even scooped up a cannonball jellyfish for the kids to see and hold. We will definitely book Capt Paul again! A++

Paul and Deborah were awesome! Our family took a 2 hour sailing ride and we had so much fun. We’ve been to Hilton Head a few times but we wanted to do an excursion to do something different this time. The sailing tour was perfect. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

The Captain and one crew member were informative, professional, and very friendly. It was our first sailboat experience and we felt very comfortable with everything. It was also a very nice and well maintained boat. We were fortunate to have awesome weather, enough morning wind to do some sailing, and were able to see several dolphins. We will definitely use them again.

Beautiful boat, extremely friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew. The weather was gorgeous. We didn’t see many dolphins but caught sight of 3-4 when we first headed out and learned a lot about the local wildlife and heritage.

My husband booked a surprise sail for our 10 year anniversary. Paul was responsive leading up to our reservation and flexible due to weather. We were able to relax, but also had the chance to learn a lot about the island and wildlife. The sailing experience was second to none and the dolphins were the cherry on top. If you're looking into Anchors Away, don't hesitate...you won't regret it.

Very comfortable ride, the actual sail was so calm and peaceful! We saw lots of dolphins. First mate, Debra shared lots of interesting information of the area! We didn’t have strong winds so the sail was not too fast, but we didn’t mind. Master Captain, Paul was very nice and informative! We enjoyed the Donuts, thanks!!

I'm a bit late but I wanted to be sure I gave Paul and Kevin a shout out. I am not one to write reviews however, I had to write these guys a review for their amazing job and professionalism. From start to finish my girls and I enjoyed the education and incredible sail, this was the best part of our 1st "Knot the office" Saturday. Captain Paul and Kevin were kind and courteous throughout our entire sail, even let my sister drive the boat. Overall, I recommend this great team for your sailing adventures. Everything was great and very relaxing.
